Marathon City Water Treatment Facility is experiencing an issue with its Fluorite System functioning correctly. We are currently working with the DNR and engineering companies to find a solution. Fluorite treatment is not a DNR requirement but recommended by the American Dental Association. The Village of Marathon City Water is safe, just no fluoridation treatment until this issue is resolved. If concerned, please look into using a toothpaste with fluorite or adding a fluoride supplement to help prevent tooth decay.
