Village Board Trustee Vacancy
The Village of Marathon City is seeking interested residents to fill a vacancy on the Village Board of Trustees.
Public Interviews: Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at Regular Village Board Meeting
Time: 6:00 PM
Location: Village Hall
Interested candidates are invited to attend the regular Village Board meeting and participate in an open interview with the current Village Board Trustees.
Following the interviews, the current Board Trustees will conduct a secret ballot vote to appoint an individual to fill the vacant Trustee position. The newly appointed Trustee will be sworn in at a future meeting.
This Vacancy term expires April 2027. Newly appointed Trustee would have to run for election at the Spring Election in April 2027, if interested in continuing on the Board.
