On Tues, Nov 19 the Marathon Lions Club held their monthly meeting at the Marathon Village Hall. At this meeting, the club membership passed a unanimous motion to provide the Village of Marathon with a $5,000 donation to be used for the new ballpark. Marathon Lions Club is also providing a second “matching donation” up to $5,000 for any new donations to the new ballpark from 11/20/2024 through and including 01/31/2025. That means the Marathon Lions Club will match anyone or any organization’s total donations up to an additional $5,000 between Nov 20 and Jan 31, 2025.
Marathon Lions Club is excited to continue the community’s tradition of supporting the needs of our future generations.
The Village of Marathon thanks the Lions Club for their generous donation and looks forward to seeing future generations enjoying the new ballpark complex.
