WI DOT Construction Information Meeting – WIS 107 (County B to North Street)

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) invites you -to attend a construction information meeting on Wednesday, June 10 at 5 p.m. to discuss the upcoming construction project on WIS 107 between County B and North Street in Marathon County.

Project staff will share construction details, staging, schedule, traffic impacts and other information. The meeting will be held at: Marathon City Village Hall, 311 Walnut St, Marathon City, WI 54448. A brief presentation is scheduled to begin at 5 pm. The remainder of the meeting will follow an open house format.

WIS 107 Improvements

  • Resurface existing
  • Upgrade pedestrian curb ramps
  • Repair deteriorated storm sewer structures
  • Addition of right turn lane from County NN to north bound WIS

Schedule

  • Work is planned to begin June
  • Curb ramps and storm sewer improvements will take until late July at which point milling and paving operations will begin.

WIS 107 Traffic Impacts

During construction, landowners will be notified of any temporary impacts to driveway access ahead of time by WisDOT’s contractor. Residents’ mailboxes will be impacted by the grading work, please work with your post office to arrange mail delivery. If mailboxes are in place at the time the contractor needs to work in the area, they will remove it and place it on your property,
