The Village of Marathon City will be accepting bids for the sale of a 1946 Ford Fire apparatus with a chassis swap to a 1984 Fire Tender. This is a gas-powered fire engine/tender has been used in the Marathon Fire Department and sold as-is.
Interested parties should submit a sealed bid at the Village Office at 311 Walnut Street. A minimum bid price has been established and must be met to be considered a valid bid. Bids will be accepted at the Village Office until 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 18, 2025. Questions can also be directed to Steven Cherek, Village Administrator at 715-443-2221.
The Village of Marathon City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award the sale of the vehicle in the best interest of the Village.
